Book for the bear

This book was written in 2008 by the scientific associate of Callisto, George Mertzanis. This publication was funded via the INTERREG IIIA Greece-Bulgaria program through the project "Raising awareness for mountainous ecosystems and large carnivores in the cross-border region of Rhodope". The book was distributed for free until it was out of print. We hope in the future to have again the opportunity to republish it after the necessary update in the scientific information.
