Production of Educational Material concerning the wolf (LIFE- COEX Project)
The cooperation that Callisto started with the European LIFE- Nature Project concerning the “Support of Agriculture and Large Carnivores Coexistence in North Europe” with the discrete title “COEX” (from the word “coexistence”) proved to be very important.
This project was the first one that tried to deal with the issue of conflicts between the large carnivores and agriculture in a more holistic way, adopting activities in many countries of the European South (Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Croatia). Many Public Services, Local Authorities, Management Authorities of Protected Areas, Research Institutes and Environmental NGOs participated and cooperated in this ambitious project.

The cooperating bodies in the project asked the cooperation of Callisto, as they recognized the importance that the representation of the Southeastern Europe, as well as the participation of specialists that are active in Greece and the Balkans, has.
In the framework of the project, the educational team of Callisto undertook the production of an educational material concerning the wolf, which, as soon as it was translated into Portuguese, Spanish, French, Italian and Serbo-Croatian, will be used in schools in South Europe. Callisto has the copyright for Greece and the Greek language.
